The DDF 40 double doweling machine makes drilling highly precise dowel holes even simpler and more efficient. It stands out with a wide range of applications, easy handling thanks to its innovative ergonomics, and absolutely geometrically precise and stable joints.

Whether in the workshop or during assembly: superior joint quality cannot be achieved with a portable machine.

Whether it is an outside corner, central partition or a row of holes: the DDF 40 doweling machine not only achieves the precision of a stationary machine, but does so particularly economically with standard wooden round dowels.

Furthermore, thanks to the double-hole technology, extremely high stability during assembly is already guaranteed.

Advantage

  • The height of the adjustable stop can be precisely adjusted up to 62 mm using the knob and graduated scale. Common dimensions can be preset with the turret stop.
  • The two spring-loaded stop pins in the base plate make it possible to drill holes at a fixed distance of 15.5 mm from the edge of the workpiece: repeatably and without measuring or marking.
  • The ergonomic motor housing with a front grip recess and a rear grip nose provides an ideal gripping position and, at the same time, optimal power transmission for every application.
  • The adjustable stop is guided on both sides and locked centrally with a single adjustment screw. For angled joints, it can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees. Detent positions at 22.5°, 45° and 67.5° are preset.

Application


The DDF 40 has a flat design with a flat base plate. It combines the easy handling of a flat dowel joiner with all the advantages of a dowel joint.
The patented stop system with spring-loaded stop pins in the base plate has simply been adapted to the new SA 320 side stop. This makes it extremely easy to apply pairs of holes farther from the reference edge repeatedly and without marking.

 

Drilling holes on a 32 mm pitch is part of professional routine. When using another dowel system, an additional tool is always required. The DDF 40 double dowel joiner can also be used to drill 32 mm hole rows and mounting holes - and thus assemble complete furniture.
The proven double-bore technique prevents the workpieces from twisting against each other after joining. This eliminates the need to align the workpieces.
