For a flat bevel or to convert horizontal sleeves to vertical ones

The MB-102 Multi Base allows you to sharpen on the side of Tormek diamond wheels. This produces a completely flat bevel, which is preferable for some applications. The MB-102 Multi Base is fully adjustable, allowing you to configure the optimal settings for each tool and jig. It also converts horizontal sleeves to vertical ones, for easier access when sharpening knives in the direction of rotation and for controlled honing when using knife jigs (the so-called Front Vertical Base, or FVB).

  • Allows you to achieve a perfectly flat bevel using the side of the diamond wheel.
  • Ideal for creating a flat bevel on luthier's knives, Kiridashi knives, V-tools, carving knives, Japanese planes, and much more.
  • Allows the universal support to be mounted vertically on the front: better access when sharpening knives in the direction of rotation and controlled honing when using knife jigs.
  • Suitable for Tormek T-8, Tormek T-4, and earlier models.
