Product details

The idea of developing a new plunge saw is certainly nothing revolutionary; what is new, however, is developing the various components of a machine in such a way as to guarantee maximum precision in every situation.

The MT 55 cc plunge saw with the Aerofix F-AF extraction system enables perfect cuts using just one hand.

The scoring function is activated in two seconds. With this feature, the MT 55 cc makes precise cuts on visible edges, just like stationary machines, even when the splinter guard is worn.

Continuous speed adjustment for different materials and according to the blade used.

The maximum cutting depth is an impressive 57 mm, and thanks to the tilting system, there are no limits to bevel cuts.

  • Rip cuts and crosscuts
  • Bevel cuts from -1° to +48°

  • Compatible materials: solid wood, cement-fibre panels, Trespa, OSB, drywall, plastics, façade panels, etc.

Advantage

  • The enclosed blade guard housing and the protective blade splitter prevent dust from escaping.
  • The MT 55 cc is equipped with the new CUprex Compact motors to ensure a higher speed and high power.
  • The cutting depth can be adjusted quickly and precisely. With or without a guide rail, the exact cutting depth is always displayed by the cutting-depth indicator.
  • For crosscuts, the angle is adjusted at two points by turning a single stop screw half a turn.

Application

It is when making plunge cuts, for example in kitchen worktop panels, that the MT 55 cc leaves all the competition behind.
With MAFELL, changing the blade is faster than ever: press the release button and lift the lever. Open the housing and change the blade without the risk of damaging the blade teeth.
 

 

The MT 55 cc can also be used with other guide rail systems without any problems.
With or without a guide rail, the exact cutting depth is displayed by the cutting-depth indicator.
