The combination of high power and high speed has a name: CUprex, the high-performance motor with high-precision digital electronics and a new control technology. Thanks to its continuously variable speed control, it enables a wide variety of applications in different materials.

To ensure excellent handling and control, the portable circular saw for carpentry is equipped with electronic soft start, a constant speed even under load, a speed monitoring device and an overload protection system.

The MKS 130 Ec is made from extremely robust, high-quality materials, such as the die-cast magnesium housing and impact-resistant plastic parts reinforced with glass fiber. The tool's special enclosed design also acts as an effective barrier against dust and chips.

The MKS 130 Ec is suitable for all classic and modern carpentry applications. It can effortlessly make crosscuts and rip cuts in wood and insulating materials.

To enable you to work with maximum safety, the saw is equipped with various features such as a motor brake and a guard with a self-closing mechanism. In addition, the on/off switch is fitted with a switch lock in an easily accessible position.

With the MKS 130 Ec, MAFELL introduces a new generation of circular saws for carpentry: a first-class machine designed to meet the highest demands and equipped with solutions that make life easier on the job site. All with the customary premium MAFELL quality - made in Germany.

Application


For highly precise cuts, the MKS 130 Ec can be used with F guide rails.
The MKS 130 Ec circular saw is the ideal tool for making bevel cuts, as the blade can be tilted by up to 60°, providing a cutting depth of 65 mm.

 

The parallel fence and the high-performance CUprex motor allow precise work and safe cuts.
In combination with the S 50 M dust extractor and guide rail, the MKS 130 Ec circular saw ensures clean, precise cuts, even when working with difficult-to-process insulation materials.

 

It is not only when making half-lap joints that clean, precise cuts are essential: with millimetre-precise height adjustment, this is no problem.
For hand-traced cuts, the MKS 130 Ec can be guided with extreme precision thanks to the long, clearly visible cutting-line indicator - regardless of the angle of inclination.
