The DCH172 SDS-Plus rotary hammer delivers optimized performance and runtime in a lightweight, ultra-compact body. The powerful brushless motor and XR Powerstack battery technology provide 1.4 Joules of impact energy, enabling holes to be drilled in concrete up to 16mm. It is ideal for installing plastic wall plugs and small-diameter mechanical anchors, which require optimal drilling diameters between 4 and 10mm. POWERSTACK batteries deliver 50% more power* with 25% less size* and work with all the 18V XR tools you already own. *Regarding the 50% more power: compared with the DCB183 battery, not in the application. Regarding the 25% smaller pack and more compact size: compared with the DCB183 battery.
