Always-sharp scissors

The Tormek SVX-150 Scissors Sharpening Jig takes care of your scissors. It is suitable for all types of scissors, from household scissors to heavy-duty garden shears. It also allows you to sharpen pinking shears used to make zigzag cuts in fabric or the blades of portable handheld electric planers.
The scissors are mounted in a holder that moves freely across a support plate. The sharpening angle can be set to exactly replicate the existing angle.
It is often the case that one or both scissors blades are slightly convex. Thanks to the design of the Tormek device, you can follow the specific shape of each blade to make sharpening easy.
The rotation of the grinding wheel pushes the scissors blade against the support plate, allowing the operator to focus on moving the scissors across the grinding wheel.
